I hardly ever update anymore. It's too bad really, I like having a log book of my thoughts and activities. I can't believe I've been living in Cincinnati for two months. Now that work and school has picked up, time has been flying by. Between working in the music ed department, the arts admin program, and the mba night courses, I hardly have time to think during the week. Grad school the second time around couldn't be more different than the last go. At Exeter it was all about private research and essay writing, but at UC I almost feel like I'm in high school again. I have all this homework. It's not that I don't find it interesting or useful, but it's not very academic. I like all of my classes except for Statistics. It's not that it's too difficult, but it just doesn't appeal to me. It also doesn't help that the professor doesn't collect homework, with no motivation, I haven't done any of it. It should be interesting to see how I do on the midterm thursday :/
With how busy I am during the week, I really have not desire to do much during the weekends. The weekend is my time to be domestic. I clean, run errands and whatnot. Today I went to the recycling center, bought some new jeans and went grocery shopping. It might sound boring, but It was exactly the type day that I needed.
