::Christmas in Exeter
2:26 p.m. - 2006-12-17

So I am coming home tomorrow! I am very, very excited about it, but I worry that there will be no snow on Christmas.

Things are very festive in Exeter. Today I walked through the city centre, and there was a very Christmassy feel. There are loads of street venders out. They sell just about everything: scarves and jewelry, flowers, misletow, and mexican wrestling masks. I considered buying a mexican wrestling mask. There are also musicians out. Today there were Native Americans dressed up in tradtional garb playing vaguely Native American tunes on wood pipes. Nothing says "Christmas" like Native Americans ;) There are loads of Chrsitmas lights up in town and it's really nice. All we're missing is weather to reach below freezing and to get a sprinkling of snow.
