::A big week.

So this has been a pretty big week for me. On tuesday I found out that I got Distintion on my senior exercise. That's a really big deal, and so now I'm a very impressive individual and a distinguished scholar ;-) I really was very surprised, though.
Yesterday was my voice recital. I'm so pleased with how it went. I wasn't nervous at all, and I think I sounded pretty good. I was really happy to be there, and I think that was the best part for the audience. I also had an absolutely amazing dress. I really hope I keep on singing. It's probably my favorite thing I do at kenyon.
As of yet, I'm still jobless, although it sounds as if I might be getting this job at Chautauqua Institution. I'd be the personal assistant to the vice president of the Institution among other things. I'd have all sorts of cool responsibilities such as accounting for $7 million and writing speeches for the senior staff to read before performances. It would be a great opportunity for me, and I really hope I get it. If I don't then I won't even have a summer job, let alone anything else. Alas.
