::Sweet Erika

have you ever seen the movie Sweet Charity? I hate that movie. I hate the lack of a happy ending: "And she lived HOPEFULLY ever after." Charity is just a totally naive, optimistic loser. She doesn't let things get her down, which is a good quality, but she also never seems to learn from her mistakes. At the end you know she'll never end up getting anything or going anywhere. But she's still hopeful. Sometimes I feel like Charity. Without the optimism. Nothing ever really changes for me. Yet I still allow myself to get excited and make plans that never pan out the way I'd hoped. I'm just naive, but perhaps a bit jaded at the same time. Alas, I know it's a condradiction.
